Sustainability
What is sustainability ? And Why is it important ?
- Sustainability supports that missions by striving to improve the environmental health and quality of life for our campus & community.
- Sustainability is important for many reasons including environmental quality in order to have healthy communities. We need clean air, natural resources and toxic environment. The concept of sustainability is composed of three pillars economic and environmental and social also known in formally as profits, planets & people.
- We at MAF are ensuring we abide by the above hence our factory first plant consisting of 1200 machines is completely solar powered, making it one of the few energy self sustainable plant. Future plan is to make all other factories energy self sustainable for which the work is under motion and target is to complete the same by 2022.
- Secondly , go green is the future in the MAF hence we have inbuilt feature of the same in Nano spray machines. All our tumble dryers machines are go green (Zero discharges). We have special nozzle fitted in machine which saves water and also drying garments by steam to give good hand feel to the garments.
- Ozone Machine: Ozone finishing does not need water and hence reduces the water consumption drastically. Back staining of the colour on the garments is totally eliminated resulting in better and quality. Better control on the shade matching and wash consistency is achieved as ozone gas is passed through a specially designed exhaust system which disintegrates the ozone in to the oxygen. Reduce wather consumption and conventional bleach is eliminated resulting in lower maintenance cost of the ETP.
- Denim Plant: This is the versatile design enabling ti to generate all possible effect on garments. The inner drum and beaters are specially designed for the processes like denim washing, stone washing, softner & enzyme wash. This machine along with ozone machine reduces the consumption of water and chemical besides increasing sustainability to the industry and is the best compared to any other conventional washing machine.
- We are doing garments using fabrics that are made from recyclable polyester and cotton.
- We are also doing trims made of recyclable material.
Education Initiatives
Money helps today, but education helps for the rest of your life. We believe education is the most powerful tool you can give to someone. We’re very proud of our project to build a school for the underprivileged children. We also fund the provision of top-notch learning facilities in schools all over India. Only when everyone is educated can we move ahead as a nation and as a society.
Her Project
MAF Clothing works with women empowerment organizations like HERproject to unlock the full potential of women working in global supply chains through workplace-based interventions on health, financial inclusion, and gender equality.
Skill Development And Team Building Programme
- Company also encourages its employees to enhance there skills on education front which is sponsored by company for various courses.
- MAF also organises team building exercises and inter personal relationship programmes yearly between the HOD’s better harmony & communication.
